Aquarius Marine Services BV was founded by  Jan van der Sluis. (ex-captain Wijsmuller, inspector  Netherlands Shipping Inspectorate and senior surveyor Lloyds’ Register). The purpose of Aquarius Marine Services (AMS) is to support the client by means of specialists knowledge and experience.

The ultimate goal is a satisfied customer by offering broad services and delivery of good work.

Maritime regulations are changing rapidly, especially the international regulations are frequently being renewed and increased by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO).

Further it is noticed that the knowledge and experience in the shipping industry is rapidly decreasing. It can be seen over the complete sector; on board of ships, but also within shipping companies and shipyards.
